The Unitel Engineering LLC employees participated in the CIGRE Study Committee B5 Colloquium on Protection and Automation, which was held in Tromsø, Norway June 23-28, 2019.

The Colloquium was attended by more than 130 experts from 30 countries.
At the poster session on June 25, Unitel Engineering LLC presented the paper of V.A. Kharlamov, V.V. Gramashov, S.E. Romanov, A.K. Khasanov ”Challenges in the Use of PACS Channels over Packet Switched Networks” within the Preferential Subject 3 (PS3) ”Future Technologies for Inter-substation Communication, Migrating Digital Teleprotection Channels to Packet-Based Networks”.
On 27 June, the Unitel Engineering LLC took part in the discussion session with two presentations: ”Requirements on the PACS channels” and ”Commissioning of PACS channels”.
