At the beginning of April 2020, PKUS EO2 interface convertor manufactured by Unitel Engineering LLC was delivered to Minsk, Republic of Belarus. PKUS EO2 interface convertor will be installed in SS 330 kV of GPO «Belenergo».
PKUS EO2 equipment that consists of two independent dual-channel converters with 64k cross-connection function is applied for connection the line differential protection terminals with optical C37.94 interface to digital telecommunication equipment with electrical E1 interface.
Advantages of PKUS EO2 interface convertor:
- Embedded event recorder with non-volatile memory and not editable by user;
- Ability to save event logs in COMTRADE format;
- Monitoring of teleprotection channels according to the protocols, accepted in the electric power utilities.
