In May 2019 Unitel Engineering specialists completed the erection and commissioning works on equipment for digital telecommunication system at Ust-Srednekanskaya HPP (HPP is under construction in Magadan region). PJSC RusHydro was the end customer.
Several works were held to provide digital communication channels and emergency control and relay protection commands transmission over digital communication channels:
- Erection and commissioning
- Delivery and installation of cabinets of digital telecommunication system based on Connection Master multiplexers
- TP and copper cable laying and termination
- FO cable laying and welding
- Site acceptance tests (SATs) of digital telecommunication system based on Connection Master multiplexers
The following communication channels were realized:
- Dispatch voice from Ust-Srednekanskaya HPP as well as telemechanical information transmission and electricity metering reading from Dispatch Node of Magadanenergo and Kolymskaya HPP
- Relay protection and emergency control commands transmission over digital communication channels from Ust-Srednekanskaya HPP to SS 220 kV Orotukan.
