Digital Information Transmission Equipment

Commissioning services means a complex of works on the Customer’s site(s). A list of works provided by the commissioning of digital information transmission system equipment (DITS) (SDH or DWDM trunk equipment, subscriber access DITS equipment) as follows:

 

1. Preparatory work

1.1. Development and coordination of communication channel organization schemes according to project documentation.

1.2. Development of programs and methods for acceptance tests of DITS equipment.

 

2. Visual inspection and installation check

2.1. Visual inspection: the integrity of the design of the cabinet and equipment mounted in the cabinet.

2.2. Verification of compliance with the equipment completeness of the equipment specification (contractual, design).

2.3. Verifying the correct installation of equipment.

2.4. Verify the correct connection of external connections (optical and electrical).

 

3. Turn on the equipment

3.1. Checking the voltage of the power supply at the equipment power supply inputs

3.2. Turning on the equipment.

3.3. Check the correctness of the turning the equipment.

3.4. Validate equipment control.

 

4. Retrofitting equipment (if necessary)

4.1. Installation of modules in existing equipment in accordance with project documentation

4.2. Configuring installed modules in hardware.

4.3. Installation of interface cables for installed modules (if necessary)

 

5. Local tests

5.1. Initial configuration of DITS equipment.

5.2. Check the operation of external alarm inputs (if used).

5.3. Check the correct functioning of the secondary power sources.

5.4. Check the correct functioning of the ventilation unit (if used).

5.5. Check the correct functioning of control units.

5.6. Check the correct functioning of the interface modules.

5.7. Measurement of the optical power level of the transmitters of the aggregate equipment modules.

5.8. Measurement of optical power at the inputs of the receivers from the line side.

5.9. Configuring DITS equipment in accordance with the project documentation.

5.10. Verify the configuration of the intercom IP-phone (if used).

 

6. Complex tests

6.1. Check ECC control channels (DCC) and the availability of network elements of a communication network.

6.2. Adding new network elements to the control system (if necessary).

6.3. Check intercom communication.

6.4. Check clock synchronization.

6.5. Testing multiplex sections.

6.6. Verification of switching to the reserve (in case of using the 1 + 1 redundancy scheme).

6.7. The organization of communication channels in accordance with the agreed schemes.

6.8. Testing of dispatch communication channels in RDU / ODU, NOC / ROC.

6.9. Testing of telemechanical channels in RDU / ODU, NOC / ROC.

6.10. Testing of other organized channels (E1, Ethernet, Relay Protection ...) (if necessary).

 

7. Executive documentation

7.1. Preparation of protocols for acceptance tests of equipment DITS in the form of Unitel Engineering.

7.2. Preparation of passports for multiplex sections.

7.3. Preparation of an album of executive circuits (communication organization scheme, control scheme, clock synchronization scheme, intecom communication scheme).

7.4. Preparation of addressing tables for network elements and overhead numbering.

7.5. Preparation of passports for organized communication channels (DC, TM, etc.)

7.6. Channel sheet preparation

7.7. Registration of the Act of the executed works.
