Major Russian companies and organizations participated in 35th International Havana exhibition FIHAV-2017, which was held from October 30th to November 3rd in the capital of Cuba. Unitel Engineering took part in the general exposition of the Russian Federation organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation jointly with “Expocenter” with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia.
Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Minister of Cuba Rodrigo Diaz, Cuba's Minister of Industry Salvador Cruz and Head of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce Orlando Guillen underlined the exceptional importance of the Russian exposition and the special significance of Russian participation for the Cuban economy.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Georgy Kalamanov noted the high quality of the Russian exposition and thanked the management of Expocenter for the work done.
The Russian Federation ambassador in Cuba, Mikhail Kamynin, pointed on the necessity to continue to expand the output of Russian enterprises to the Latin American market and praised the Russian exposition presented at FIHAV-2017.
The work of the Russian exposition included a varied business program. During various events, discussions were held on investment projects, the Cuban market potential for Russian companies, and the interaction between the banking systems of the two countries.
The Unitel Engineering production was very popular amongst the Cuban specialists. More than 50 useful contacts and meetings were held at the stand of Unitel Engineering for the entire time of the exhibition.Experts outline the diversified nature of the exhibition, comparing it with the “gateway”, opening the markets of Cuba and other Latin American countries. Today it is the most prestigious exhibition in the region.
Cuban partners consider Russia as traditional and one of the main participants of Havana exhibition. Both sides express confidence, that FIHAV-2017 will lead to the new commercial projects and further development of trade and economic cooperation between our countries.
