From 24th to 28th of April the International Industrial and Technology Exhibition Hannover Messe was held in Hannover. It has been held since the middle of the last century and is considered to be the world’s largest innovative show. In 2017, the 225 000th audience of the exhibition was able to evaluate the industrial solutions of 6 500 companies from 75 countries from all over the world.
Moscow industry in Hannover was represented by 20 high-tech companies, performed as united brand “Made in Moscow”. The capital has demonstrated complex electronics, software, facilities of control and accounting, equipment for electric power industry, that is competitive with world analogues, to foreign specialists.
Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Economic Policy and Property-land Relations Natalia Alekseevna Sergunina calls “Made in Moscow” a project to promote high-tech Moscow developments. “Participation in the program is a kind of success and progressiveness indicator of enterprises. The opportunity to represent our city on an official level claims the fact that we highly appreciate the quality of their products.” noted Natalia Alekseevna.
Opening the stand of Moscow, Alexey Anatolevich Fursin, the Head of Moscow Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship, stressed out that “Our main goal now is to make the products of Moscow enterprises recognizable. We want to develop “Made in Moscow” brand not only on the territory of Russia, but also abroad.”
The stand of Moscow manufacturers was visited by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Valentinovich Manturov. He observed the exposition “Made in Moscow” and noted the high level of its preparation. “Moscow has a good export potential, and this is a good trend when the Russian capital compete for access to foreign markets.”

Unitel Engineering took part in Hannover exhibition in collective exposition “Made in Moscow” for a second time. The Unitel Engineering exhibition display was an interactive stand, consisting of LCD TVs, substation miniature and a touchscreen. The goal of the stand was to reveal to exhibition’s visitors the necessity of commands transmission equipment of Unitel Engineering production, its purpose, principles of operation in case of emergency at electrical substation.
Exactly one year ago, in April 2016, at the Hanover industrial exhibition at the stand of the Moscow Government, Unitel Engineering and the German company Weidmueller signed a memorandum on the localization of Weidmueller industrial equipment production based on the capacities of Unitel Engineering LLC.
According to the partners’ agreements, at the first stage of cooperation, the localization of universal power connectors for circuits of current transformers and voltage transformers of the POCON series should begin in the capital.
The updated POCON units have a double safety margin and successfully passed the tests in accordance with the exact requirements of customers from Russia and CIS countries. The number of units installed at industrial facilities is measured in tens of thousands of pieces. To such, and even larger, volumes the company Weidmüller plans to reach out during the localization of production of this industry product in Russia.
In March 2017, the assembly of industrial equipment Weidmueller based on the capacities of Unitel Engineering LLC was started.
For Moscow it means new working positions, for Unitel Engineering LLC it is the transfer of additional experience in organizing production from one of the world’s industry leaders.
Inspired by the achieved successes, Unitel Engineering Company hosted a delegation from the German company Weidmueller at the stand of the Moscow Government, as well as in the Matchmaking negotiations area. In return, Weidmueller specialists presented their latest developments to the management of Unitel Engineering at their stand (1000 sq. meters).
The companies from Russia, Germany, Belorussia UAE, China, Lebanon, Switzerland, Finland, Austria, Italy and Latvia had an interest in Unitel Engineering production.
